Mobile Shredding Plant
A mobile shredding plant designed and built by OGTEC for Tyrecycle and its parent company ResourceCo.
The plant provides a portable solution for processing various types of tyres including car, light truck and also conveyor belts.
Tyres are shredded down to chunks and a disc screen is used to separate the undersized fraction. The oversize fraction is returned to the shredder for reprocessing. The undersized fraction is then stockpiled and used as a TDF (Tyre Derived Fuel) or ready for further processing, including granulation.
The mobile plant has the benefit of being able to process tyres in remote areas, which removes the added cost of transporting them to a processing facility. The plant can be fully disassembled and packed up onto their respective 20ft and 40ft platforms and moved via prime mover and semi combination, allowing for fully mobile processing.
